However, despite all the existing attempts, the long-term results of treatment of NVG still do not satisfy ophthalmic surgeons, due to the high percentage of intra and postoperative complications, including postoperative scarring.In the last decade, in the world, despite the proven effectiveness of the PDT method in the treatment of certain eye diseases, unified methodological approaches to the use of PDT in NVG have not yet been developed.
