This book proposes a reflection on the path that leads us today to work on creative research in dance, i.e. on works (video dance) and practices (improvisation and choreographic montage) that make the place (of the journey) and the ephemeral situation of sensory immersion the mainspring of the artistic approach. The questions posed stimulate reflection on the immersive field of dance ("practice as research"). The diverse aesthetics of dance are the primary framework for defining the research posture and examining the relationship between theory and practice.
