The aim of this book is to discuss the influence of managerialism and performativity in Brazilian educational management. The research carried out to produce this book shows the emergence and expansion of managerialism in Brazilian public administration, which came about through the Reform of the State, based on the rationalisation of work and the commercialisation of administrative processes.
