The present work gathers three articles that were written for the magazine La Puerta, founded and directed for years by the author, two of which are unpublished. "The Door and the Key" "The Sword and the Devil" "The Symbolism of the Star of David." "The Gate and the Key", the most extensive, attempts to delve into these two fundamental and complementary symbols, relying on the Kabbalistic tradition and etymology. He places special emphasis on the so-called "narrow gate" and why it is necessary to go "light of baggage" one must be able to rise to it. Since Delet (???) means indistinctly "door," or "verse," the author contemplates Scripture as a gateway to the divine mysteries. On the other hand, "The Sword and the Devil" is based on an old Hebrew proverb that Cervantes reformulates, giving us an unsuspected teaching. Finally, "The Symbolism of the Star of David" deals with this universal symbol, dear to magicians and alchemists, reproducing the article published in 1988, now impossible to find.
