The flow of time is in the passage of things and the occurrence of changes and transformations in individual and collective life at every moment. We can see this change and transformation in Urdu poetry and especially in Urdu ghazal. The caravan of ghazals has reached its present destination, traveling in the shade of legends and myths, in which the basic realities of life and social problems have come to the fore in harmony with new poetics and new forms of expression have been created in accordance with the subject. In the year 1997, most of the ghazals were composed with fresh and contemporary sensibility. This book is a unique selection of these ghazals.
