Kamand Hawa: (Urdu Short Stories)

Altaf Fatima is one of the writers who came to the fore in the sixth decade of the twentieth century. This famous fiction writer, novelist, translator, writer and teacher was born in Lucknow in 1927 and died at the age of 91. She had a unique style of her own which was reflected the roles, especially in female roles of her fiction. Readers can clearly see the color of patriotism and religiosity in her novels and short stories. This collection "Kamand Hawa" contains some selected short stories of Altaf Fatima.

الطاف فاطمہ کا شمار ان لکھاریوں کی صف میں ہوتا ہے جو بیسویں صدی کی چھٹی دہائی میں منظر عام پر آئے۔ نامور افسانہ نگار، ناول نگار، ترجمہ نگار، ادیبہ اور استاد 1927ء میں لکھنؤ میں پیدا ہوئیں اور 91 برس کی عمر میں ان کا انتقال ہوا۔ ان کا اپنا ہی ایک منفرد اسلوب تھا جو ان کی کہانیوں کے کرداروں میں جھلکتا تھا، خاص طور پر ان کے نسوانی کرداروں میں۔ ان کے ناول اور افسانوں میں حب الوطنی اور مذہبیت کا رنگ پڑھنے والوں کو واضح نظر آتا ہے۔ یہ مجموعہ "کمند ہوا" الطاف فاطمہ کے چند منتخب افسانوں پر مشتمل ہے۔
