This book is aimed at contributing in the improvement of the knowledge of practitioners in the field of leadership by providing guidelines to lead in the information era. The primary objective of this book is to provide practical information for leaders who want to implement successful information system projects in their organizations. The secondary objective is to offer an understanding of information system projects, explain the effects of the lack of leadership roles during their implementation, and the role of leadership in improving their successful implementation. The book provides a leadership model that leaders can adopt to complete the successful implementation of information system projects and increase their success rate while reducing the adverse effects of failure. It also provides an exploration of the relationship between information systems and leadership by explaining the impact of an organization's environment on information systems and the changes it introduces to an agency.
