For the Love of Mercy

In the wake of tragedy, Mercedes Stanton is uprooted from her family's cherished Oklahoma farm, which has been passed down since the land rush of 1889. Heartbroken by the loss of her parents, she is forced to sell the land, wrestling with guilt over her newfound wealth - money stained by grief.

Relocating to town, she secures a job with the Sutton family, sworn enemies of the Stanton's. She soon realizes the Suttons are not the monsters her father painted them to be. Sparks fly between her and her boss, and she finds herself entangled in a forbidden romance.
