Julian Jamaal Jones is an African American interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. Julian will soon graduate with his Master's in 2022 from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI, under the tutelage of Chris Fraser. Julian draws daily to escape reality - to help him clear his mind from his surroundings. Sketching allows Julian to reflect on feeling of belonging and alienation in dominated white spaces.
