This prized Anthology is dedicated to the memory of the great Trinidadian writer and Nobel Prize Winner 2001 - Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul - Nobel Laureate.

V. S. Naipaul was knighted in 1989. He was awarded the David Cohen British Literature Prize by the Arts Council in England in 1993, and in 2001, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
