As the City Burns

Marco Flynn is a throwback gumshoe detective that's good at his job and claims downtown Indianapolis as his stomping grounds. Currently, he's struggling to make ends meet from his business and sees himself as a relationship killer.

Marco's life gets put into a blender when he stumbles on a body in the canal. The problem, other than the dead body, is Marco knows who it is and they were buried two years ago. On top of that, his brother brings him a case that appears to be a simple land profiteering scheme. When Marco begins investigating the two cases, he finds they are linked and opens a can of worms that will unravel untold corruption in the city government with a looming election in the balance.

Marco tries to balance his emotions as he bounces between two women while solving two explosive cases and keeping the people he cares about safe. He can't trust anyone to tell him the truth because they are all suspects until proven innocent.
