Cypress grew up as a nomad. Everything she knows of life, she learned inside the confines of an Airstream camper while traveling the country from one street fair to another. As an adult, Cypress left her gypsy life behind to plant her roots and open a boutique. But she has never been able to stop looking over her shoulder as her past continues to haunt her.

Chris is a missing-person detective that has dedicated his career to saving women from fates worse than Hell. When a bohemian gypsy flutters into his life, he learns that separating his work from his personal life isn't always as easy as one would like.

Parts of Cypress' past sneak out of the shadows when they're least expected. Pieces of her puzzle start to come together in ways neither one of them ever imagined. Will Chris be able to help Cypress find redemption from her past?
