Miami based pastor, Felipe Assis, realizes everyone starts something. Whether it is college, a new business, a marriage or having a family, starting out strong is important. With the story of the famed Chamberlain Towers serving as a backdrop, Felipe's home town landmark illustrates the importance of starting off with a good foundation.

The historic figure of Jesus and his ministry show that affirmation, dependence, proclamation and purpose are core to starting - or restarting - anything. A short, easy read, Starting Strong provides four key elements to beginning anything that comes your way in life. Readers of any age can grasp and apply in their present situation.

Felipe Assis is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Crossbridge Church, a multi-site church with campuses in Miami as well as in Brazil. In addition to leading Crossbridge Church, Felipe serves as Co-Director for City to City North America and President for City to City Miami - gospel movement organizations affiliated with the ministry of Dr.Timothy Keller.

Felipe holds an M.Div from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Th.B from Seminario Presbiteriano do Norte in Brazil. He began his ministry career at an early age with his first church plant in Recife, Brazil at the age of 19. In the last 26 years of ministry Felipe has planted multiple churches in Brazil as well as in the United States. He is married to Beth and they are the parents of Analisse, Zoe, Camila, and Francesca.
