Where the Soul Goes: Shouldn't Dying Once Be Enough?

Jane had a good life until she mysteriously died. The afterlife, Mauge, is full of magic and wonder. Memories can be recalled and relived in perfect detail. Fairytale environments can be created and experienced from places real or imaginary: castles, ethereal forests, fantasy lands, etc.

Mauge is hardly someplace to complain about, but something is wrong. Jane is completely alone. Isolation begins to drive her mad. Then, she meets Abigail. They're fast friends, but it becomes increasingly clear that Abigail holds secrets. Three things cannot long stay hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. Jane learns that nothing is what it seems.
