Max Braves the ICK

Max Braves the ICK is a tale of child empowerment and encouragement. Max's journey focuses on overcoming the battles of taking icky, sticky, ewwy, gooey, gloopy medicine. Max is sick and tired of being sick, so will he take matters into his own hands? While his friends are outside having all the fun, Max is inside pushing back against his mom's tricks to hide medicine inside his favorite snacks. Despising the taste and smell, Max has to search within to find a self-driven desire to "brave the ick", an early lesson of weighing benefits vs. cost. While this story focuses on taking medicine with an emphasis on adult supervision, hopefully it will further encourage children to resiliently make bold and uncomfortable decisions to achieve positive resolve.
