Unraveled Mysteries: The Reality of Private Investigation

Somewhere amidst the sleek silver screen and the doldrums of everyday reality, the life and labor of the private investigator has grown into a cult like hero; whether it is Sherlock Holmes or Thomas Magnum, Rick and AJ or Jim Rockford. Society for the most part has placed an unrealistic halo above the private investigators head. In the book UNRAVELD MYSTERIES: THE REALITIES OF PRIVATE INVESTIGATION, Bruce Nowlin and David Arndt aim, not to remove the halo but to shine light on some of those fables about investigators. Rather than have the new or seasoned private investigator scour through dozens of different books to learn about their view on the art of private investigation, Bruce and David have condensed what they have discovered as a short coming in modern private investigation books.

David and Bruce both believe in continuous learning and because of that, they came to realize that most books on the market today that cover private investigation are specific only to a single subject. Least of which details the work and life of a modern day private investigator. While writing a book about a single topic is great for the author, its not so practical a read for someone still trying to decide if this is the industry they want to enter after they finish their formal education. Seeing a need for something geared towards that shortfall. Bruce and David began writing.

While UNRAVELED MYSTERIES won't teach the reader how to pick a lock or how to properly wear a disguise or how to conduct surveillance; it will clarify many of the mysteries about various tactics, theories and history of the world surrounding clandestine operations. With that new found knowledge the reader can dig deeper into those singular topics if they so choose.
