Edward is a self-made tech billionaire living in California. He has everything that money brings; real estate, vacations, cars, women but is missing one thing: love. He begins to feel an emptiness in his soul and begins to attend church, seeking to feel the void with something spiritual.

He begins to change and lose a lot of friends that never really were...but at church he meets a southern girl, Daphne...Daphne is down to earth and sweet, unlike any woman he's ever met...Edward begins to fall for her until she herself starts to change when she experiences the luxurious California lifestyle he can provide.
