King Cyrus' Sword

A tale born out of a swiftly issuing scrimmage. As the young keeper rises from an obvious forced sleep, to an absurd reality of being a captive.

Supposed to be a terror: he would not let it be a horror.

So, he engages his captors and their ills to earn a way out of the bedimming. As he quickly learns, he is in the middle of an ancient raging war, engaging the defunct dark arts of the defunct City of Babylon. Meaning a hole in the dark alleys had been opened and a stranger of the past has assumed our realm.

A people termed extinct are thus unearthed from a life of a complicated exile inhabiting caves and tunnels of the covert of Achaemenid. Harboring there in since the prime of empires to the modern day Persia.

Causing the young keeper and his allies to scale the matrix of things past and things current of the empire to satiate calm.
