One: Cannon Fodder

Rowan Cannon is a feisty young Member of Parliament, newly elected in Tony Blair's landslide victory of 1997. Having vanquished the Tories in the Polls, Rowan cannot wait to do the same to her opponents in the House of Commons Chamber. Whether they are hard-line Thatcherites or One Nation Grandees, Rowan is fearlessly combative on any issue. However, despite a determination to draw swords, one member opposite is a source of curious and uncontrollable attraction. The equally combative Simon Marler is her ideological enemy and she should be repelled by him. Rather than wanting to tear strips off him in the legislative chamber, she would much prefer to tear clothes off him in the bedchamber. But the warning from all her colleagues is very clear: you must never sleep with a Tory.
