Three: Marler's Story

The love affair between Labour's Rowan Cannon and the Conservative Simon Marler has reached a critical junction: it seems that love cannot conquer politics. Finally we hear Simon's tormented story and why he must make the most difficult choice of his career. On the one side he risks losing his career and his honour - on the other he risks losing his lover and his mind.

The Westminster rumour mill is running wild. To which side will Simon jump: into his lover's arms or onto the opposition front bench? Perhaps he will have no choice at all, being pushed or pulled by forces beyond his control. One thing is for certain: Rowan Cannon - the object of his forbidden love - has no intention of remaining a passive and impartial observer in Simon's struggles.
