The Priesthood of Christ

The priesthood of Christ holds a central place in Christian theology, serving as a foundational aspect of the believer's relationship with God. Mediator Between God and Humanity: One of the primary roles of Christ's priesthood is to act as a mediator between God and humanity. In Christian belief, no one can approach God without a mediator due to the sinful nature of humanity. Which is why Jesus says "No one come to the father except through me (John 14:6).
Jesus fulfills this role perfectly by being both fully divine and fully human, allowing Him to bridge the gap between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). This mediation is essential for believers to access God's grace and forgiveness.
