Every Love Story Is A Sad Story

A young Russian Jewish writer finds three postcards on the street, each with a single word written on them, and later he finds the author of those same postcards, a depressive young woman whom he falls in love with, but as their relationship moves at a slow pace he wonders if she loves him or if she's using him. Trying hard to save her and to keep her by his side, he comes to the conclusion that maybe he's fighting a battle that he can't win.
