This Paperback is an extended version of the Kindle Ebook with more illustrations and poems hope you enjoy them all thank you for the support. Please note this is my first poetry collection. I could not afford an editor. But I will eventually use this book's proceeds to get one. I apologize in advance for any grammar issues I tried my best to be an editor and my own publisher. I hope you enjoy every bit of this book. I will be perfecting it myself as I read a copy myself. And though, I find it hard to read these moments, they are all raw and uncensored as they get. I will do my best to revise and make a new edition by Christmas.

The Missing Petals on Chromosome Four is a raw, powerful, and achingly beautiful in this intimate collection of poems. That details one mother's emotional rollercoaster through the unexpected landscape of raising a child with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome. The author transforms her family's challenges into a powerful story of love, resilience, and unexpected joy in dark times.

From the first moments of diagnosis through the halls of hospitals, therapy sessions, and hard to hear medical news. These poems are written to illuminate the strength found in both mother and child. And help readers understand rare diseases with a glossary at the end and resources.

Each poem pulses with authenticity - capturing the fear of uncertain diagnoses. Along with the anxiety of sleepless nights watching for seizures. But also the pure joy of small victories that others might take for granted.

But this is more than just a story in poetry's form it is also about seeing disability or medical challenges as a strength. It's an anthem for all parents who have found themselves on an unexpected path, a reminder that perfection comes in many form.

Through metaphors of flowers blooming against all odds and petals that may be missing but make the bloom no less beautiful, the author shares a narrative that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt different or faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles medically and mentally.

Written in the difficult moments between hospital visits and therapy sessions, these poems offer:
- Hope and solidarity for families navigating rare genetic disorders
- Insight for medical professionals seeking to understand the family experience

- A new perspective on what it means to be "perfect" or "complete"

Whether you're a parent, medical professional, or someone seeking to understand the extraordinary journey of special needs families, this collection will open your heart to new definitions of strength, beauty, and love.

Join this warrior and mother as they discover that sometimes the most beautiful gardens grow in unexpected places, and that missing petals often make the most remarkable blooms of all.
