Broken But Encouraged: Mini Women's Devotional

Life can be very challenging at times, and this devotion was laid on my heart during one of the most challenging times in my life. God had a plan, and it did not include me wallowing in my pity but getting up and dusting myself off so I could share His encouraging message.

There are seasons in our lives when we are tested, and our faith may feel weak. Struggling with a death, a relationship ending, a troubling addiction, or an illness. In today's scary and unpredictable world, the list can go on. Women are told to be Wonder Woman, Martha Stewart, and an alpha female at work. There is no time for weakness. Be strong for family and friends, and make sure your social media makes you look like you're having the time of your life!

But how do you put one foot before the other when you can barely stand? When you have to remind yourself to take a deep breath? The answer is God. God can use these difficult times to cultivate our faith to dig deeper and for us to grow through the pain. It is okay to feel your pain. Most importantly, work through your pain with God by your side.
