Lit Shark Magazine: Issue 8: The SHARK WEEK Edition: November 2024

Issue 8 of Lit Shark Magazine: The SHARK WEEK Edition is a wonderful compilation of fiction, short memoirs, lots of poetry, and photography, all highlighting nature and marine life, exploring our environment through our senses, and most importantly, destigmatizing sharks and similarly misunderstood creatures. It's an incredible example of quality writing and contains beautifully memorable pieces.

The submissions we received were so impressive, and just like the writers who latched onto the campiness of our Spooky (TEETH) Edition, we're so pleased with how much our writers and artists leaned into examining nature and marine life for what became this issue!

Each of our issues has marine elements and features stories and poems about life under the story, but we think this issue (quite fittingly) does an exceptional job of highlighting the beauty of marine life, destigmatizing often villainized animals, and highlighting how the creatures of the deep need our help. We cannot wait for you to read it.
