Harold Brandilou is a nice fellow living in Southern Florida and is searching for a job... Oh, but most of the jobs have been eliminated after a disease deteriorates society and leaves humanity looking like the cast from a rather creative zombie film.
It started with strange explanations from reporters that looked as confused as the stories that they were reporting, and within a week it morphed into an epidemic that crossed every order of every continent, a virus spread through physical contact with the dead. Harold's body was effected in a way that went beyond even the mixed facts given through television, until television was no longer something that operated, like anything that relied upon electricity. After remaining within his old home for nearly a month, he needed to do something, to be somewhere else, to find other survivors, and leaving the safety of his house was one of the chances he was willing to take.
