A Stranger in Somerset: A Mill-Upon-Mortlake Cozy Historical Mystery

After spending a few months in a rural Somerset village, Daphne Noble has come to the conclusion that village life is just as dangerous as living alone in London-but the pitfalls are quite different. If it isn't trying to decipher her colleague turned friend turned suitor's clumsy attempts at courting, it's rowdy boys from the neighboring town mucking up market day, or Ted Sweeten's heifers chasing her faithful pup, Bertie.

Still, Daphne accepts the mundane mayhem of Mill-Upon-Mortlake quite happily-until a handsome stranger turns up in the village and a body turns up next door!

Was it murder, or simply a mistake? Old secrets come to light, and Daphne finds herself at the center of a scandalous family affair she never expected. Is the charming stranger in Somerset out to steal Daphne's heart, or is he simply hoping to distract Mill-Upon-Mortlake's daring detective from accusing him of the crime? Find out in A Stranger in Somerset, the third in the Mill-Upon-Mortlake Cozy Historical Mystery series!
