Desert Death: A Josh McGrady Modern Mystery

Josh McGrady was a desert rat - that is he grew up in the Phoenix, Arizona area but loved the desert. Ironically after he joined the USMC and earned a Sniper-Scout position he was sent to Afghanistan and Iraq which were not his idea of desert.

He met fellow sniper Bradley Massai in Afghanistan when they were assigned to Scout Sniper Platoon, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment. They became inseparable.

After both had enough of the USMC in Afghanistan and Iraq Josh and Brad resigned. Brad took a job with the U.S. Border Patrol and Brad joined Pima County Sheriff's Department.

When Josh heard the Brad was killed in Ajo Arizona he swore he would never rest until he made the killer pay with their lives. This led him to Mexico and against drug cartels, government agencies and intro a new career as a black ops mercenary.

Along the way Josh met his soul mate Melissa Bouvier the Sheriff of Ellijay, Georgia. They cleaned up the mess with the help of C.S.S. Combined Security Services - a federal Black Ops Group. But it wasn't easy and lots of blood was spilled during their battles.
