This book tells the story of my life-one shaped by molestation, prostitution, drugs, and prison.It took me nearly two decades to finish writing my manuscript, and I restarted the process many times.Ive changed the title Its A Cold World to Releasing my Pain for Someone Else's Gain because that now better reflects the journey I've been on. For years, I couldn't share my story in fairness because I was so consumed by anger.It took to to work through the hurt, pain, guilt, and shame that held me back Looking back I realize what I needed was a shift in perspective-learning to see the glass as half full, not half empty. I stopped asking "why me God" and instead began giving thanks to my higher power for helping me survive.

Today I continue to care for that little girl inside me-the one who was buttered and abused-so she knows she is always loved.
