The Songs of the Damned: A collection of unsung Songs waiting for the Music

A collection of unsung songs that were written over a period of 10 years. They reflect a deep sense of loss, human pain and the challenges one faces in the life. Personally, each song reflects a phase of life. It tells a story of a soul passing through the innumereble tests that it is put through time; again and again, one after the other. The pain mounts on top of each passing as the souls yearns to become free of the burden.

These songs are incomplete. Over time, I have struggled to get them a soul of their own. I have met with local artists who could give these songs a voice; but they could never do justice to the the words and the songs lost the meaning.

Thus, the decision to put them out there through a book. I believe, tThere a time for everything; so these songs wait for their time. The time when someday they may breathe with music, they may live, they may hopefully become timeless, immortal and never forgotten - as generations may whisper them, softly hum them and shout them out loud. May that day not only bring peace to these unsung peices but also peace to the one who decides to sing them.
