It is for those whose life has not turned out exactly how they had imagined and who are tired of trying to measure up yet keep falling short. It is written to those who have worked hard at living a religious life and are tired, weary, and burned out. It is for the discouraged, disappointed, and frustrated who also find themselves empty and have no idea how to face the next day. It speaks to the marginalized and forgotten and for those who are haunted by the nagging thought that though God might love them, he is deeply disappointed in them.

And lastly Howling in the Desert is written for those who believe that somehow their sin is greater than God's great gift of mercy and grace found in Jesus the Christ. It's a cool drink of water on a hot summer day for those whose soul is thirsty for God.
