Zophism: Practical Gloom Magick

You walk down a corridor and come across an open door. You peer into the darkness and see nothing, yet feel something. The darkness is darker than dark, it is the pitch-tar of night; the utter absence of light and yet you are compelled to enter. You know there is something powerful in the deep darkness, in the gloom, and so you enter in; unless you walk on by. It is your choice. But you will always have that lingering thought, "what would have happened if I had entered the room? Who would I have met? Who would I have become?"
