This is a collection of 26 poems, each with 26 words, where all the words in any of the 26 poems are in alphabetic order. The poems are furthermore ordered in reverse alphabetic order. Thus, the first word in the first poem starts with z; the first word in the second poem with y; the first word in the third poem with x; etc. In the first poem, the words are in reverse alphabetic order. In all the rest, the words are in alphabetic order. When the sequence of words in a poem reaches "z" (as the first letter in a word) they continue with words starting with a, b, c etc.
They are all written in a way that makes this structure the spine of the poem, albeit not dominating.
