When Jim York, a cop from small-town Saskatchewan, makes a bust that puts his face on the national news, he is recruited to join a big-city detachment on Canada's west coast. It seems like a dream come true for this starry-eyed country boy. But not long after Jim, his wife, and their young daughter arrive out west, his dream job turns into a nightmare.
