The Commander's Prisoners

Two militant groups, the Western and the Revolutionaries, fight for control of what is left of society after the apocalypse. To Rohan Kanth, the son of a Western fighter, it comes as no surprise when the Revolutionaries capture him after they killed his mother just months earlier. His plans to lay low in captivity are foiled by the discovery that Elena Kaya, his childhood friend, is an official at the Revolutionary base.

For years, Elena had been burying memories of her past in order to survive. When Rohan arrives at the base, she is faced with the reality of the person she used to be and the person she has become.

Rohan hopes Elena will be his lifeline, but she is second-in-command to Commander Alan Lee, who is out for Rohan's blood. With Rohan's life hanging in the balance, Elena must navigate the complexities of her relationships in the base and decide where her loyalties lie.

As the story unfolds, Rohan discovers that he is not Commander Lee's only prisoner-and that everyone, friend and foe alike, has something worth risking escape for.
