It's just a Flesh Wound: The poetry of Stephen Jager

I'm not gonna lie.
It's been a tough year.

Safe to say there is stuff you'll read in here I have not had the courage to publish. Originally I was going to call it 'The book of suffering', but once I came through the other side of this year's trials, I ended up scorning those difficulties as Christ had scorned the cross.

Hence the title.

Hopefully I'm a little bit more resilient, a little more faith-filled, a little bit wiser and contrary to what the title might suggest, a little more sober-minded about life.
