The even numbered chapters follow Elika about a year later. These chapters follow Elika as she is hunted by the legendary Galactic Hero: Commander Carpenter. He is on a mission to capture Elika alive. His own skilled crew is hunting her down. Alone and isolated, Elika has only her wits and a couple of new tag alongs to survive one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy. But her mind and body are failing her do to a daemon attack on her software/hardware. What will it take to become the best? And at what cost?
