In 2001, there was a sudden feeling that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government in India under Mr. A.B. Vajpayee was going astray.
While China was strengthening its State-Owned Enterprises, India decided to privatize its Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)!
The Government said, "There is no way to escape except by privatizing the PSUs." It attributed the reasons to fiscal deficit.
Disturbed by the developments, the present citizen wanted to know whether the problem was a real one, or an imaginary one. Therefore, the present citizen dropped a letter to Prime Minister of India Mr. A.B. Vajpayee on June 1, 2001.
After that, the present citizen submitted 1212 letters to the President of India. Different letters were submitted to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), International Criminal Court (ICC), world leaders and the media houses all over the world.
The Indian media and the world media chose not to put these letters under public domain. The journey continues.
This book contains 28 letters. The first chapter corresponds to - Letter No.1179 dated 12-8-2023, and the last chapter to Letter No.1206 dated 6-1-2024.
The dominant theme of the book is the Gaza war and the law. Therefore, the title of the book is "Gaza War and the Law".
This book discusses the history of India for 148 days from 12- 8-2023 to 6-1-2024.
The annexure contains the first letter and its consequences.
