Where did the Jesus-is-coming-back mantra begin and why have all predicted models of men yesterday and today failed to be fulfilled. What if it was all circumscribed to first century AD? Why did the Lord and His Apostles never use the words coming back or return or coming again, in the context of eschatology?

Anything beyond that scope, called this generation, is at variance to Scriptures.
