BOUNCING BULLET is a series of a drama called WEESULISE in which a security officer is accused of shooting a woman to death during a riot. Evidence is adduced from eye witnesses and CCTV videos showing this officer directly pointing a gun to a woman and before he fires a shot. The woman falls down, dying instantly.
This officer is produced before a court of law but he denied any wrong doing. He is however convicted. He appeals to a higher court. He is convicted again.
On the day of sentencing, investigation brings evidences that send the whole court into disarray.
Not the defense team, prosecution, the Judge or the public can believe the truth before court.
It's akin to a hunter being caught on his own trap.
WEESULISE is a Luganda word literally translated as standing upside down (like a bat) and therefore having a different view from others.
It's an investigative series about a veteran retired skilled officer who is always called back to give services to the police force to unravel critical and challenging cases.
The drama gives an insight into tactics and techniques used in the course of unveiling the truth behind criminalities.
