Four Paws and a Tale

Woofy is adopted by a family serving overseas. He was taught by his mother that adoption is a dog's destiny and there is no escape from serving humans. When his military family is called back to the US and leaves him behind, he is convinced that they have abandoned him and the separation tests his love and loyalty. When he is finally reunited with them, he understands that distance and time can never break the bonds of a loving family. Still, there are many challenges he must overcome such as growing up, being different, serving in the military, and saying goodbye to the ones you love. In the end, duty teaches him that service to humans is a privilege indeed.
