Majority of these things were farfetched because she ...

1. Doesn't like animals or children, never been to a club/bar, never works out, has groceries delivered, and can't afford to travel. Last hope was for an office romance, not to mention, the neighbor.
2. Although asked out often, there's a wall unintentionally up. Men who did entice her came and went before she could explore anything. That left unappealing creeps and ones that fell into the friend-zone.

Selective friends she kept repeatedly accused her of being picky. She preferred prudent.

Daily faith pays off when she meets someone in the last obvious place she expected to meet a passional man.

How can he stand within these walls and not melt, not have steam coming off him, not get hit by a lightning bolt, or be thrown out because of the ungodly attention he drew? Darkness shouldn't be able to stand in so much light. So good-looking he was, it had to be foul, but she had taken a shine to him.
