Aristomache Kallis was born into a society created by Athena for one purpose: to protect her most beloved priestess, Medusa. Trained from a young age as an Initiate in Athena's conclave, Aristomache is regarded as the "spear of Athena". So when the unthinkable happens and a traitor in the conclave sells the locations of Medusa's safe houses, Aristomache was the first choice to go rescue her. Sent with two of her sisters-in-arms, the women set out to retrieve their Lady Medusa and bring her back to safety. As time goes on, the Initiates realize that nothing with this mission is as it seems and begin to wonder if Medusa was the target after all.
