Humanity has made several technological leaps in the 200 years since the Apollo missions of the 1960's allowing us to colonize the Solar System and our nearby neighbor, Alpha-Centauri. Captain Jonathan Pierce, blind since birth and a hero of the Jovian aggression, is recalled to active duty after the Alliance Heavy Cruiser 'Freedom' goes missing. Pierce, along with his first officer, Commander Allison Jones and his new command level assistant Veronica Valentine, must uncover the truth behind the missing cruiser, but answers only raise more questions. Their search for the 'Freedom' leads them to discover a more diabolical plot hidden in the shadows.
