There were many years in between where she did not write at all. When something significant, meaningful, or traumatic happened she always found solace in writing her feelings into poetry. It is interesting to see the progression of maturity that evolved over the years and how the poetry reflects how she felt and what she was experiencing at the time. Her journey spans from high school, to being a preschool teacher, to getting married and getting divorced (a few times), to the passing of her Dad.
