From Spain with Love: Cry another day

Mark and Abbie - the Bonnie and Clyde of Spanish home improvement had now been living in their dream home for a couple of years. Every day admiring their home as if it's a fortress among the olive groves.

Last year, Abbie, determined to grow her own spuds, had brought her new, precious plants indoors to shield them from the cold that had suddenly hit their humble home. Mark's job? Simple. Keep the door shut. But did he? Oh no, instead the cats transformed them into a feline five-star litter box.

But as usual life threw curve balls and not everyone survived the chaos. And there, in the midst of it all, a new addition arrived, and this time it's big and it's ugly.

"To dreams," they toast, where the mincer hums, fingers occasionally vanish and may the cats find a new litter box.
