I am not... a professional athlete... a former college athlete... college soccer coach... youth soccer coach... high school soccer coach... or a high school guidance/school counselor.
I am the father of a daughter who said she wanted to play college soccer and who promised his then 10-year-old that if she wanted to play college soccer and put in the work I would put in the time and resources required to help her reach her goals.
Over the past six years, I have made learning about the girls' soccer college recruiting process a hobby. I have listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts, read countless books, sought guidance from parents who have gone through the process before me, and used my education and consulting background to help my daughter get recruited and commit to playing D1 soccer.
As I wrote this book, I consulted current and former coaches, parents of other female D1 soccer players, and college admission consultants to make it as helpful as possible.
Every athlete's recruiting path is different because no two athletes are exactly alike, so I would never claim that following what we did exactly will guarantee your daughter to have the same results we did, but I am positive this book will help shorten your learning curve, ground your expectations, and improve your chances of helping your daughter find the right fit for her too!
