Allister Moss, engineer and architect, major shareholder and CEO of Moss Industries; a Californian contractor, completes the replica of Bodiam Castle, a historic English treasure for Medieval Park in Queensland, Australia. En route on the Sea Horse to the Solomon Islands for another project, the ship sails off course and perils in a tropical storm. Allister is the sole survivor washed up on Tartizana, a set of two small isolated islands, inhabited by two warring tribes. Adventure begins with his search and rescue by his wife Sonia, and the corporate battle back home. Allister is captured by the Shironoo tribe, who soon realize he was foreseen by the tribe's Shaman, and rises to become Tomonkoo, the Warrior from the Storm. Tomonkoo learns of the invasion by the larger Kirty tribe, and races for months to help the Shironoo construct a fort and build the defences needed to save them, and learns they are outnumbered 3 to 1. After aerial photos reveal signs of Allister's location, his search and rescue team arrive at Tartizana by ship and soon realize they have come on the night of the Full Moon War.
