The Lady of the Lake by Villa Parsifal is the story of a noble woman who lived in the first half of the 19th century and died mysteriously at just 29 years old, still a virgin in the waters of the lake. Her body was never found, but it seems that her ghost still appears today on full moon nights on the shores of Lake Villa Parsifal in the eastern Alps. The manuscript narrates the life of the protagonist, Rebecca Parsifal, up to the day of the sad epilogue and beyond her death, so to speak. For more than a century the inhabitants of the small village seem to have turned to her spirit to obtain prophecies and resolve disputes. In the testimonies kept in the municipal library there are hundreds of stories told from time to time by the protagonists. They concern healings from illnesses, gambling wins, prophecies and of course love relationships, some even scandalous. We will then see from a sociological and anthropological point of view the evolution of the requests that the people make to this spirit of the lake. If in 1854 the farmers asked the lady of the lake the most suitable day for sowing wheat in 2024, their descendants today ask for the combination of the lot, for one thing.
There are ''hot'' passages in the text which concern the relationships of some protagonists and are recommended to be read by adults only
