Living in Grace and Godliness: Titus 3

The Apostle Paul, knowing that he was coming to the end of his life, instructed Timothy and then Titus, two young men that he called his sons in the faith, his true sons in the faith, indicating he had led them to the Lord. Paul had limited time on earth, and he had to make it count.

So what did he say to Titus and what can we learn from this little book? Paul talked to the Jew, to the Greek, to the male, to the female, to the bondslave, and to the free. In the book of Titus, he explained that the grace of God had come for all people, including all ethnic groups: For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people... (Titus 2:11)

The grace of God has been revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. Speaking of the incarnation of Christ, the Apostle John wrote these words: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
